‘All About Dahlias’ with Sean Corenki via Zoom

Joint Meeting with New Canaan Garden Club

Cig Harvey, British fine art photographer and author of Blue Violet will present her work:  a vibrant meditation on the procession of seasons, sensory abundance, and the magic in everyday life.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.   New Canaan Library–new auditorium, 9:30-11:30AM

From Invasive to Native: A Three-Year Restoration’ with Pam Roman

Pam Roman, a life-long gardner and birder, will explain, step-by-step, how she removed invasive shrubs and vines in order to create a native pollinator-friendly garden. She will take us through the inspiring work she did in her own yard, day-by-day, month-by-month, over a period of three years.

‘Fireflies’/Annual Meeting

Chris Schipper, Chairman of the New Canaan Conservation Commission, will discuss why and how we need to preserve these unique and beautiful insects.  An evening walking tour of the New Canaan Land Trust Firefly Sanctuary will be scheduled for later in June.
